Hammer-Wielding Gangs Riot In Hollywood

HOLLYWOOD (CBSLA.com): Los Angeles police are investigating a string of smash-and-grab street robberies that occurred overnight in Hollywood. The crimes took place over a 30-minute period, beginning around 10:50 p.m. Monday. Police say between four and five Hispanic men, possibly with hammers, knives and even a Taser, threatened four separate victims who were getting into or out of their vehicles.
