Holder: I Personally Understand 'Mistrust' of Law Enforcement

Thursday, Attorney General Holder spoke about the “mistrust and mutual suspicion” that the Michael Brown Shooting has uncovered. 

“I wanted the people of Ferguson to know that I personally understood that mistrust,” Holder said.

Wednesday the Attorney General met with FBI, law enforcement officials, and community leadership to discuss the investigation and police reactions to the week long protests and riots in reaction too the fatal shooting of Michael Brown by a Ferguson police officer. 

Holder said, “I wanted them to know that while so much else may be uncertain, this Attorney General, and this Department of Justice stands with the people of Ferguson.”
