RNC Releases New Ad Hammering Obama Foreign Policy

The Republican National Committee is stressing that President Obama’s foreign policy is receiving a vote this November and released a new ad Monday pushing that point.

The digital ad — which focuses on the threats posed by ISIS, Ebola, and Obama’s plans to bring Guantanamo prisoners to the U.S. — will play in  Alaska, Arkansas, Colorado, Iowa, North Carolina, New Hampshire, Louisiana, and Virginia.

“Vote to keep terrorists off U.S. soil, vote Republican,” the voiceover in the ad says.

Watch:

The ad comes as a recent NBC/Wall Street Journal/Annenberg poll found that 52 percent of voters would favor a Republican-controlled Capitol Hill compared to 41 percent for Democratic control.

With an unpopular president, the GOP is looking to keep the race focused on Obama’s failures in the final days of the cycle.

“President Obama’s actions threaten the safety of our country,” Chairman Reince Priebus said in a statement Monday with the release of the new ad.

“While ISIS plots ways to destroy our way of life and Ebola infects American citizens, the president continues to go around the Constitution and Congress to move terrorists from Guantanamo Bay into our nation,” he continued. “This November, the president’s policies appear on the ballot. I urge you to vote Republican to keep terrorists off U.S. soil.”
