A new ad from Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump accuses Ted Cruz of supporting amnesty.
The ad features an interview the Texas Senator did with Fox News host Bret Baier in December defending his amendment to the “Gang of Eight” Senate bill.
Cruz stumbled over his words during the interview, arguing his amendment was to “defeat Marco Rubio’s amnesty” and not to allow illegal immigrants to obtain legal status.
Trump highlights an interview he did in January, when he vowed to secure the borders.
