Roger Stone: Time for John McCain to Apologize for Defending Huma

With the new revelations coming about Huma Abedin—Hillary Clinton’s top aide and longtime companion—it’s time for Senator John McCain to admit and apologize that he was wrong about Huma.

I stand by what I’ve written beforeI believe that Huma Abedin is a Saudi asset and Hillary’s handler. Born in the United States, but raised in Saudi Arabia, Huma is the Kingdom’s anchor baby, planted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. She was put in place in 1996 and has continued to work for Saudi Muslim interests in her position at Hillary’s side.

Although she is the daughter of poor academics, she showed up in Washington, before even meeting the Clintons, and gushed to Washingtonian Magazine about her chic, expensive wardrobe and collection of $1500 handbags, one for every day of the week. She also bought a $600,000 home in this time period. I learned this when I selected Huma for my 2015 International Best Dressed which I have posted at StoneZONE.Com for ten years. I like Huma’s style, her politics… not so much.

I wrote “This woman is married to pervy former congressman Anthony Weiner. Hillary’s right hand woman, Abedin, is always perfectly put together whether she’s going to a cocktail party at the UN or a Muslim terrorist Cell Meeting. She reminds me of a young Jackie Kennedy in her impeccable fashion choices. Her choice of sunglasses is up there with Jackie O. The Most chic woman working for Jihad. Hillary’s Saudi handler. Can you say Arab Spring?”

Although the Clinton campaign was out denying it yesterday, Huma actually worked as assistant editor for an Islamic journal that blamed America for the attack of 9/11 and is funded by a shady radical sheik who the U.S. Justice Department said helped finance the attack on that horrific day.

This is the woman McCain praised and defended, ignoring her links to Islamic terrorists and leading role as Hillary’s henchwoman in the illegal e-mail scandal as well as her hip-deep involvement in the “pay-for-play” operation at the Clinton Foundation.

John McCain has spent too many years inside the Beltway.

Senator McCain should admit that his assessment of Huma was not just wrong but actually aided Huma’s threat to America’s national security.

In fact Huma and her family, including Huma’s Mother, continue to serve their radical Wahhabist masters. Huma praised her mother as a “feminist” in a breathy profile in Vogue recently. In fact her mother is a leading advocate for the genital mutilation of Arab girls and women’s total subjugation by Arab men. Some “feminist.”

We all remember how McCain attacked Republicans who tried to expose Huma years ago. History has not been kind to McCain.

At Breitbart News, lead investigative reporter Lee Stranahan did a series of devastating articles showing Huma and Hillary’s history and connecting Huma to the 28 Pages censored for years that shows Saudi Arabia’s connections to worldwide terror funding.

This past weekend, Paul Sperry did an exhaustive piece at the New York Post that shows Huma’s link to the radical Muslim journal that I’ve also written and spoken about many, many times.

The New York Post story seemed to wake the media from their self-imposed slumber, as they actually had the sense to ask about Sperry’s report at a State Department briefing and – surprise – the State Department spox admitted that Huma’s name had been on the masthead for 12 years, while making the laughable claim that she was not actually involved with the Journal that was started by her parents.

Then Chuck Ross at the Daily Caller reported on Monday that Huma doesn’t just have a highly questionable background, but that when it comes to national security and classified material, the impeccably dressed top assistant to Hillary Clinton is downright sloppy.

Emails released on Monday show that Hillary Clinton’s top State Department aide, Huma Abedin, left classified government information that needed to be burned in the front seat of her vehicle.

“Favor” is the subject of Abedin’s July 20, 2009 email to Lauren Jiloty, Clinton’s personal assistant. Judicial Watch obtained the records and hundreds more pages of Abedin emails as part of its ongoing Freedom of Information Act lawsuit against the State Department.

“I’m going to have ambassador ride on next drive,” wrote Abedin. “There’s a bunch of burn stuff in the pocket of my front seat.”

Abedin’s apparent carelessness with classified information highlights the complaints that Clinton and her staff played fast and loose with classified information. FBI director James Comey said last month that Clinton’s use of an off-the-books email system to conduct State Department business was “extremely careless.”

For the sake of brevity, I’m not even going into Huma’s connections to Hillary’s private email server where she vetted the e-mails and thus had access to classified documents, or her doubling dipping at Clinton Foundation while on the Federal payroll, or her triple dipping at Teneo Strategies, the Clinton connected lobby group where Ed Rollins now works.

Shame on you, John McCain, for enabling Huma Abedin and all of her corruption.

McCain must apologize for becoming the useful idiot that the leftist lie brigade quotes in their every defense of Huma. Here’s an article from this week from Media Matters for America:

Sen. John McCain: “These Allegations About Huma … Are Nothing Less Than An Unwarranted And Unfounded Attack On An Honorable Citizen, A Dedicated American, And A Loyal Public Servant.” A July 18, 2012, press release from the office of Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) highlighted remarks by the senator in which he said, “These allegations about Huma, and the report from which they are drawn, are nothing less than an unwarranted and unfounded attack on an honorable citizen, a dedicated American, and a loyal public servant.”

Of course, I can think of about 1 million reasons why McCain is highly unlikely to either admit his misjudgment or apologize.

The McCain Institute nonprofit with ties to Senator John McCain received a $1 million donation from the government of Saudi Arabia in 2014, according to documents filed with the U.S. Internal Revenue Service. Taking a cue from the Clintons, McCain says he “has nothing to do” with the Institute despite appearing at fundraisers for the Institute where his top fundraising staffer is on the payroll.

Groups critical of the current ethics laws say that McCain’s nonprofit effectively gives Saudi Arabia — or any other well-heeled interests — a means of making large donations to politicians it hopes to influence.

“Foreign governments are prohibited from financing candidate campaigns and political parties,” Craig Holman, the government affairs lobbyist for ethics watchdog Public Citizen, said. “Funding the lawmakers’ nonprofit organizations is the next best thing.”

When did McCain come up with such an arrangement? The Bloomberg article continues:

Holman said that the Clinton Foundation, whose top donors include Australia, Norway, Saudi Arabia and Sweden, may have started the trend of foreign governments donating to nonprofits connected to political figures.

Founded in 1998 to raise money for then-President Bill Clinton’s presidential library, the Clinton Foundation accepted millions of dollars from foreign governments over the years, including while Hillary Clinton, now running for president, served as secretary of State during President Barack Obama’s first term. The foundation says that Clinton was not involved in its work when she worked for the Obama administration.

The Saudi donation to the McCain Institute Foundation may be the first congressional instance of that trend coming to light.

John McCain needs to decide which desert oasis he wants to protect – Arizona or Saudi Arabia? Make a choice, John, because you can’t defend Huma and protect America.
