Island County Sheriff’s personnel have arrested a person of interest in the September 23 Burlington, Washington mass public shooting.

The suspect–unnamed at this time–is 20-years-old.

According to USA Today, “KING-TV in Seattle reported that the 20-year-old man was taken into custody in Oak Harbor, about 29 miles southwest of Burlington.”

MyNorthWest reports, “A deputy was on patrol and passed a man walking on the street. That person that matched the description of the Cascade Mall shooter. That person has been taken into custody without incident.”

The Washington State Patrol tweeted:

On September 23 Breitbart News reported that a man carrying a “hunting style rifle” entered the Macy’s in Cascades Mall on Friday night and killed four women and one man. The gunman fled and no suspects have been arrested in the shooting until Saturday night.

Washington state has the universal background checks that Hillary Clinton, President Obama, and Michael Bloomberg push as a way to keep Americans safe.
