Tottenham Hotspur announced on Saturday that kick-off in their Premier League game at home to Southampton had been delayed by half an hour due to the closure of a major local road.
The M25 motorway was shut following a chemical spillage from a lorry, prompting Spurs to push their game back to 15:30 local time (14:30GMT) in order to give supporters enough time to get to White Hart Lane.
