LOS ANGELES, Nov. 8 (UPI) — Voice coaches and new couple Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are working on a country music ballad.
People magazine said the mid-tempo song is about someone urging their lover to leave the relationship if that is what will make them happy. It has not yet been recorded.
“It’s amazing how good she sounds on a pretty country song,” an industry insider told the publication about the rocker.
Shelton, 39, and Stefani, 46, confirmed last week they have been dating. Both parties recently broke up with their spouses. Shelton and Miranda Lambert split up over the summer, and Stefani and Gavin Rossdale’s divorce was finalized last month.
