LOS ANGELES, Jan. 26 (UPI) — Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello hit the red carpet Sunday at the Screen Actors Guild Awards, where the 42-year-old actress showed off her brand new engagement ring.
Vergara and Manganiello started dating last summer, shortly after the Modern Family star ended her engagement to businessman Nick Loeb.
Manganiello, best known for his roles in True Blood and Magic Mike, reportedly proposed on Christmas Day.
Vergara was seen with a diamond on her ring finger over the holidays, but Sunday night’s SAG Awards marked the couple’s first official outing since their engagement.
Vergara wore a red gown by Donna Karan Atelier and flashed her engagement ring to E!’s ‘mani cam.”
“Very happy, very excited. I cannot believe it,” she said of her engagement.
