The troll is strong in this one.
On Tuesday, activist Shaun King declared that he would boycott the NFL for their “anti-blackness” in response to the fact that no NFL team has signed controversial, anthem-protesting quarterback Colin Kaepernick. He also challenged others to do the same.
Sports personality Clay Travis issued a challenge as well. This one, directed right at Shaun King:
Hey @shaunking, I’ll give $50k to Colin Kaepernick’s charity if you take a DNA test and are more than 25% black.
— Clay Travis (@ClayTravis) June 7, 2017
King’s racial identity became something of a controversy, after sources from King’s own family confirmed to CNN and to Breitbart that King is white, and has always been considered white, despite his claims that his father was “a light-skinned black man.”
Now, all we have to do is wait for King to take Travis up on his challenge. Which he should. After all, it’s for charity.
