SANA’A, May 25 (Saba)- Turkish Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Taner Yıldız arrived on Saturday in Sana’a to participate in the first Yemeni-Turkish Energy Forum.
The forum will discuss a number of working papers on the joint cooperation areas in the fields of oil, minerals and energy and ways of strengthening them.
The two sides will discuss also in the forum the possibility of establishing joint projects in a number of sectors, as well as the possibility of purchasing amounts of Yemeni gas by some Turkish companies.
About 60 companies would participate in the forum, including 24 Turkish companies and 36 Yemeni, in addition to other investing companies working in Yemen in fields of oil, gas, minerals and energy.
