On this weekend’s broadcast of “Fox News Sunday,” Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) said of President Barack Obama’s executive amnesty, “Essentially, he’s gotten in the job of counterfeiting immigration papers.”
Cruz said, “This is a wholesale refusal by President Barack Obama to follow our immigration laws,” adding, “We should use the constitutional checks and balances we have to rein in this abuse of power.”

Cruz said since the president is “openly defying Congress,” Congress should block all of his nominations in response.
