Doug Schoen: Clinton Campaigns Rife ‘Constant Back-and-Forth Battling’

Tuesday on Fox Business Network’s “Varney & Company,” long-time Clinton insider who worked on Bill Clinton’s campaigns and  Senator Hillary Clinton’s 2008 presidential primary campaign, Doug Schoen, said he no longer is involved with Clinton campaigns because he can’t subject himself “to the constant back-and-forth, the battling, the fighting.”

Discussing reports of early infighting in the potential Hillary 2016 presidential bid, Schoen said, “I have spent the better part of 40 years doing campaigns and you are absolutely right. In the early stages of a campaign, there is infighting. In this case, between the Hillary loyalists and the newcomers from the Obama campaign. But what I also know about is the way Hillary’s campaigns and Bill Clinton’s campaigns work , having been there, is they are really rife with fighting.  Candidly, I stayed out of the 2008 election myself because I didn’t want to subject myself to the constant back-and-forth, the battling, the fighting.”
