‘Peyton Manning’ and ‘Cam Newton’ Sing ‘Ebony and Ivory’ on ‘SNL’

Kenan Thompson and Taran Killam, appearing as Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton and Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning, joined forces the night before squaring off in Super Bowl 50 and sang “Ebony and Ivory” on this week’s broadcast of “Saturday Night Live.”

The skit made fun of Manning for having a poor season, and made fun of the controversy surrounding Newton this year for being a “thug” despite appearing in commercials and on children television networks.

Police then showed up and questioned “Cam” because he handed a large, brown gun to a kid, which was a nod to Newton handing touchdown footballs to children in the stands after his team scores a touchdown.
