Jeb: Trump ‘Doesn’t Believe What He Says,’ ‘Actor Playing a Candidate’

GOP presidential candidate former Florida Governor Jeb Bush argued fellow candidate Donald Trump is “an actor playing a candidate in effect. He doesn’t believe what he says. There is nothing in his past that would suggest he is a conservative” on Wednesday’s “America’s Newsroom” on the Fox News Channel.

Bush said Trump is “basically mouthpiecing the views of the extreme left. Hillary Clinton doesn’t think that. … This is Michael Moore talk, when you start saying that my brother caused 9/11. He should be impeached. That he knew about that there was no weapons of mass destruction. All that stuff is — first of all, it’s not about the future, and we should be focused on that, but it’s just wrong. And he’s not going to garner any support because he said that. I think he just got mad at the debate, because I got under his skin, and he got angry and he lost control.”

Bush added, “[H]e’s not ideologically driven, that’s for sure. I don’t think he’s a conservative at all. All of his views have shifted just to morph into this candidate, that you know, that he’s, he’s an actor playing a candidate in effect. He doesn’t believe what he says. There is nothing in his past that would suggest he is a conservative. And now he’s morphed into this person that is kind of shifting with the winds.”
