Sessions: ‘I’m Confident I Made the Right Decision’ by Recusing Myself From 2016 Election Investigations

During an interview broadcast on Thursday’s edition of the Fox News Channel’s “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” Attorney General Jeff Sessions said that while he understands President Donald Trump’s frustration over the “distraction” of the Russia probe, he is confident that he made the right decision by recusing himself from any investigation into the 2016 election.

Sessions stated, “I understand his feelings about it. Because this has been a big distraction for him. But, Tucker, I talked to experts in the Department of Justice, people who are trained in that. I’m confident I made the right decision.”
