10:50 AM: Trump campaign thinks Arizona still in play:
Trump campaign officials telling reporters.. they trust their data and Gov. Ducey’s data more than “anyone hanging out in Washington DC or New York”…They argue they can win still the state by claiming their margin could end up with 30K votes for the president.

Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf: "Make no mistake: our democracy is being tested in this election. This is a stress test of the ideas upon which this country was founded. The basic rule of one person, one vote — that still carries, and it has to carry here."

10:25 AM: Trump:
How come every time they count Mail-In ballot dumps they are so devastating in their percentage and power of destruction?
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) November 4, 2020
10:15 AM: Biden campaign laying out their path to victory. They think Michigan will be called today and Pennsylvania tomorrow. They think this race is “already a foregone conclusion.”

9:59 AM: Progressives rightfully going after these band of grifters who are largely responsible for Trump’s/Trumpism’s rise. When will the media who today are hilariously talking about not understanding America stop giving these folks oxygen?
The Lincoln Project spent $67 million to persuade Republicans and Biden filled up the Dem convention with GOP speakers.
The result: Biden lost ground with voters of color and Trump won more Republicans than he did in 2016. https://t.co/l64coiGGhA https://t.co/aTFXVSfr4x

9:50 AM:
Polling drives coverage. Polling drives fundraising. Polling helped drive the Democratic primary by determining who made the debate stages. Polling drives expectations, and thus faith in the results.
The polling was way off in the primaries and way off in the general.

9:35 AM: NYT’s Blow devastated:
This is so personally devastating to me: the black male vote for Trump INCREASED from 13% in 2016 to 18% this year. The black female vote for Trump doubled from 4% in 2016 to 8% this year. pic.twitter.com/PvIM26Pz19

8:55 AM: Georgia:
AP Decision Desk on Georgia:
"The race is too close to call because an estimated 4% of the vote still remains to be counted. That includes mailed ballots from two counties Biden is winning: metro Atlanta’s DeKalb County, as well as Chatham County, which is home to Savannah. /1
— Emma Kinery (@EmmaKinery) November 4, 2020
AP Decision Desk on Georgia cont.:
“Several counties in the Atlanta area also stopped counting votes after running into technical difficulties."
— Emma Kinery (@EmmaKinery) November 4, 2020
A Biden victory in GA still looks like a pretty good possibility, given that so many outstanding votes are coming from big counties breaking Dem: Cobb, Dekalb, Chatham, Clayton… pic.twitter.com/zx7lxaeYE5

8:35 AM: Pennsylvania: What to look for when the votes come in today:
Good morning. In PA, here's where Biden's hopes hang:
He has won 77% of mail ballots counted so far.
There are 1.4m left to count.IF – if – that pace continues, he'd net a 787k edge – and is trailing by 657k
(and since much of blue PA is left to count, poss he might exceed 77%)— Jonathan Tamari (@JonathanTamari) November 4, 2020
So two things:
1) Biden is well on his way to flipping MI & WI (in addition to AZ & #NE02) and is doing well enough in PA's completed counties to be on track to win there
2) Polls (esp. at district-level) have rarely led us more astray & it's going to take a long time to unpack— Dave Wasserman (@Redistrict) November 4, 2020
8:32 AM:
House Democrats are confused. Angry at the @dccc. Unsure where to go next. A mix of “what the **** just happened” and “don’t blame me.” Wild days ahead. Lame duck coming up. Leadership elections. Soul searching. Buckle up

Great Trump ground game in Florida:
Around 55% of Florida's Cuban American vote went to Donald Trump, according to @NBCNews exit polls, while 30% of Puerto Ricans and 48% of "other Latinos" backed Trump. – @NBCLatino https://t.co/j2IkNb2EDi

8:25 AM: Michigan:
There doesn't appear to be enough oustanding in Wisconsin for Trump to overtake Biden.
What is left in Michigan appears to be very favorable to Biden and they are currently almost even.
It would appear that as long as Biden holds NV, he will win the election regardless of PA.

8:15 AM: Wisconsin:
Whatever final WI margin is, pattern is striking: Trump lost further ground in same places he under-performed in 2016: Dane, Milwaukee, Waukesha, Ozaukee.
there was a >62K vote shift toward Dems in Dane + metro Milwaukee. (Trump gained elsewhere)
if Biden wins, that's why— Craig Gilbert (@WisVoter) November 4, 2020
8:05 AM: McAuliffe thinks Trump “nightmare is just about over.”
For Democrats just waking up (not me – up all night!). Lot to be excited about. The Trump nightmare is just about over. Joe Biden is on track to win this race. The sun is rising in America. USA. 🇺🇸☀️ https://t.co/NmnCBpvJmH

8:00 AM: Texas Dems fail to take back state House after much optimism going into the election.

7:45 AM: Wisconsin Dem. Chair claims Biden has won Wisconsin.
Green Bay and Kenosha results are in. Biden is now up in Wisconsin by roughly 20,600 votes. That number could wobble a bit, but there's no realistic path for Trump to pull ahead.
Biden has won more votes any prez candidate in WI history.
Folks: Joe Biden just won Wisconsin. https://t.co/xtg0hiSlW4

7:35 AM:
The exit poll data sits rather uncomfortably with the "populism = angry white men" thesis. Whoever wins, Trump's base has broadened and diversified relative to 2016. And that, I suspect, will give 'Trumpism' staying power in the Republican Party. pic.twitter.com/poz0VhvAPZ

If you’re wondering about Wisconsin’s recount rules…
If a candidate comes within 1 percentage point of the winner, the candidate may request a recount. (The threshold was narrowed after Jill Stein's 2016 recount.) There is no trigger for an automatic recount.
