Seven people suffered injuries in a shootout in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, captured on Facebook Live.

Myrtle Beach Police said the shooting took place near Ocean Boulevard along the South Carolina coast around 12:30 a.m. Sunday, the Daily Mail reported.

Authorities say the suspect fired a gun into a crowd of people after a fight broke out among three people. The people hit were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

A security guard who witnessed the shooting shot the gunman, police say. The guard was treated by medical professionals at the scene after he was grazed in the leg by a bullet, WYFF reported.

Bubba Hinson, of Bethune, streamed the incident on Facebook Live from the balcony of a nearby hotel. His video has amassed more than 4.1 million views and shared more than 102,000 times as of Monday afternoon.

Police took the alleged gunman into custody after they found a stolen vehicle believed to have been carjacked by the suspect following the shooting.

Lt. Joey Crosby of the Myrtle Beach Police Department said police would not release the alleged shooter’s identity until the suspect receives medical clearance and police can serve a warrant for his arrest.
