Former Alaska Gov and GOP VP nominee Sarah Palin will campaign with vulnerable establishment Republican Senator Pat Roberts of Kansas as a “special guest” at an Independence, Kansas event on Thursday.
Palin joins a list of several predictable, more establishment Republicans now trying to salvage the candidacy of the aging GOP’er the establishment rallied behind in the primary.
Former Florida Governor Jeb Bush will be the special guest at a fundraiser for embattled Senator Pat Roberts on September 29th, Roberts Campaign manager Corry Bliss told 41 Action News.
Bush joins a host of marquee Republican names traveling to Kansas in support of the three-term senator. John McCain is expected to appear with Roberts later this week, and Kansas icon Bob Dole joined him at an event in Dodge City on Monday.
