Levin: ‘Too Many Conservatives Like Centralized Government’

Talk radio host and author of “The Liberty Amendments,” Mark Levin argued that “too many conservatives like centralized government, even while they preach otherwise” on Monday.

Levin took issue with Senator Lindsey Graham’s (R-SC) declaration that he was in the “mainstream” of conservatism, saying Graham had “one radical judge and justice after another” and was “pro-amnesty.”

He then turned to Jeb Bush, who Levin argued was “trying to figure out how to get around the conservative base,” has “poked his finger in the eye of conservatives” and is “positioning himself as the anti-conservative” except when it’s convenient to tout his conservatism. Levin then openly wondered why any conservative would favor Common Core, or any expansion of federal power in education. He concluded “it’s become apparent to me that too many conservatives like centralized government, even while they preach otherwise.”
