Kerry Slams Cotton on Inexperience

Sunday on CBS’ “Face the Nation,” Secretary of State John Kerry criticized Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR), the senator who penned the letter he and 46 of his Republican colleagues signed to Iran’s leaders by pointing out he is “somebody who has been in the United States Senate for 60-some days.”

When asked if he would apologize to the leaders of Iran for the letter Kerry said, “Not on your life. I’m not going to apologize for unconstitutional, un-thought out action by somebody who has been in the United States Senate for 60-some days. That’s just inappropriate. I will explain very clearly that congress does not have the right to change an executive agreement.”
