Matthews on Kushner: Mussolini’s ‘Great Solution’ To Firing Son-in-Law Was Execution, So Kushner Should Be Careful

During MSNBC’s live coverage of the Inauguration, host Chris Matthews made a remark about Trump’s senior adviser and son-in-law Jared Kushner being executed like Benito Mussolini had his executed.

Matthews said, “[I]t’s hard to fire your son-in-law. That’s the tricky part.” He added, “But Mussolini had a great solution to that, he had them executed. So, if I were Jared, I’d be a little careful.” The quip drew laughs from the panel.
