Rand: ‘Would Be a Good Idea’ to Delay Korea Military Exercises Until After Talks

On Tuesday’s broadcast of the Fox News Channel’s “Your World,” Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) argued it would be a good move for the US to delay its joint military exercises with South Korea until after talks with North Korea are completed as a sign of good faith.

Rand said, “I think they have in good faith stopped their testing, so far as we can tell. Now, maybe because they’ve already completed all their testing, but they’ve at least agreed to stop their nuclear testing. I think not doing military exercises would actually be a show of good faith on our part. It doesn’t change anything permanently, but delaying that until after talks, I think would be a good idea.”
