While speaking with CNN’s Manu Raju on Tuesday, Representative Mike Coffman (R-CO) said that President Trump was played by Vladimir Putin and another summit with Putin would be just as bad as the first summit.
Coffman stated, “I think the first summit was a terrible mistake. I think a second summit would be equally bad. I mean, the fact is, that the president went to Europe, and I think he was, you know, strong when it came to talking to our allies, and weak when it came to with Putin.”
Raju asked, “Do you think that he got played by Putin?”
Coffman answered, “Absolutely. There’s no question about it.”
