Nick Searcy, Stacey Dash Blast MSNBC Panel for Mocking Romney's Black Grandchild

Actors Nick Searcy and Stacey Dash are rushing to the Romney family’s defense after an MSNBC panel mocked the clan’s black grandchild as little more than a prop.

Searcy, who plays Art Mullen on the celebrated cop drama Justified, let loose with both barrels via Twitter earlier today. The actor’s son is black, and the proud father was more than happy to post a picture of the two of them as part of his attack against the MSNBC panel.

Dash caught heat last year for daring to be a person of color who supported Romney for president against the Obama/Biden ticket. The biracial actress torched the “prop” meme with a single Tweet:

Both Searcy and Dash are conservatives, but the condemnation against MSNBC crossed party lines. Newsman Roland Martin, a figure not associated with the GOP or right-of-center philosophies, joined the social media discussion with this message to both sides of the ideological aisle.
