The plane crash which killed three members of Osama Bin Laden’s family yesterday in Hampshire in the United Kingdom is said to have taken place in “near perfect conditions” – raising suspicions about the incident.

Three members of the Bin Laden family, as well as the pilot, died when their Embraer Phenom 300 private jet crashed near the end of the runway yesterday.

But the Guardian has raised questions over the crash, as the plane was equipped with high-tech gear to guide it in safely, and Blackbushe Airport has Precision Approach Pathway Indicators (Papis).

Journalist Jamie Doward wrote that the conditions for landing were “near perfect”.

The Guardian reports:

The four indicators, which can be seen from more than half a mile away, all flash white if the pilot is coming in too high and red if too low. “It doesn’t make sense to me as an ordinary pilot why something that advanced and easy to fly would bury itself in the auction ground at the end of such a long runway,” said Simon Moores, a flight instructor and pilot who has flown from Blackbushe many times.

The Saudi-registered plane was coming in from Milan when the accident happened shortly after three o’clock. According to NBC it was carrying three relatives of Osama Bin Laden. They were named as Rajaa Hashim, Osama’s stepmother; Sana Bin Laden, his half-sister, and her husband Zuhair Hashim. The pilot has yet to be identifed [sic].

Adding that it’s not the first time there has been a Bin Laden family plane crash:

It is the third time members of the Bin Laden family have been killed in a plane crash.

Mohammed bin Laden, Osama’s father, was killed when his Beechcraft 18 crashed in Saudi Arabia in 1967 while on his way to marry his 23rd wife.

Salem bin Laden, the half-brother of Osama, died in 1988 when his aircraft drifted into high-voltage power lines in San Antonio, Texas.
