May 11 (UPI) — Fox is adding a Baywatch reboot and the spy thriller series The Interrogator to its lineup.
The network announced its 2026-2027 programming slate in a press release Monday.
Based on the 1989-2001 series that starred Pamela Anderson and David Hasselhoff, the new Baywatch will reimagine the franchise for “today’s global audience” while celebrating its “enduring legacy.”
Stephen Amell stars as Hobie Buchannon, a Baywatch lifeguard captain and the son of Mitch Buchannon (Hasselhoff), whose life is disrupted when his daughter Charlie (Jessica Belkin) shows up at his home in Southern California.
Other cast members include Shay Mitchell, Hassie Harrison, Thaddeus LaGrone, Noah Beck, Brooks Nader and Livvy Dunne, along with original star David Chokachi as his character, Cody Madison.
Matt Nix serves as showrunner and executive produces with McG (Charlie’s Angels).
Fox’s 2026-2027 schedule will also feature The Interrogator, a new series written, executive produced by and starring Stephen Fry, who plays a former MI6 agent leading a team of brilliant outsiders. Jenna Elfman co-stars as the handler for Fry’s team.
Other programming includes Murder in a Small Town Season 3, Beat Shazam Season 8, Celebrity Weakest Link Season 2, Kitchen Nightmares Season 3 and The Masked Singer Season 15.
In addition, the Family Guy spinoff Stewie will debut as part of Fox’s 2027-2028 schedule. Hailing from series creator Seth MacFarlane, Stewie will follow the talking baby as he enrolls in a new preschool.
