Oct. 15 (UPI) — A Virginia woman received a gift from her husband that turned out to be worth a $577,777 lottery prize.

The Bedford county resident told Virginia Lottery officials her husband brought home a pair of Gold 7s scratch-off tickets from the Quik-E Foods on Waterlick Road in Forest.

The husband put the tickets down on the table and told the wife they were for her.

She scratched the tickets and discovered one of them was a $577,777 top prize winner.

The winner said she plans to use some of her prize money to travel.
