Dec. 1 (UPI) — Luke Wilson led the Hollywood Christmas Parade Sunday as the grand marshal.

The 93rd event, which took place across Hollywood Boulevard and Sunset Boulevard, benefited the charity Toys for Tots.

“While many know Toys for Tots for their Christmas campaigns, it is important to recognize that they now operate year-round, helping families and children in need throughout the United States,” said the parade’s executive chairperson, Laura McKenzie, in a statement. “Their dedication to supporting communities reflects the true spirit of giving that we aim to promote at the Hollywood Christmas Parade.”

The parade, which once saw Jimmy Stewart participate, was hosted this year by Elizabeth Stanton, Erik Estrada and McKenzie, and featured floats and performances.

Entertainers included Mai Wynn, the Gay Men’s Chorus of Los Angeles, Dani Elizabeth SawChuck, Murray SawChuck, Terry Fator, Liz Lentz, Melinda Lindner and Sarah Reeves.

Celebrities in attendance included The Bold and the Beautiful’s Harrison Cone and Laneya Grace, Cesar Millan and Tori Spelling.

In addition, actor Anthony Anderson was honored as Humanitarian of the Year.

“It’s a vibrant celebration that brings the Hollywood community together, enchanting audiences with dazzling floats, marching bands and performances that create unforgettable memories,” an official synopsis reads.
