June 11 (UPI) — Kenny Loggins performed his hits during a new “Classroom Instruments” segment on The Tonight Show.

Classroom Instruments is a recurring Tonight Show feature where guests perform songs with xylophones, maracas, kazoos and other common classroom instruments.

Loggins, 78, was joined by actor Kevin Bacon, Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon and the Roots to perform “Danger Zone,” “Footloose” and more.

“Danger Zone” is Loggins’ 1986 hit that appeared in the blockbuster Top Gun, starring Tom Cruise, while “Footloose” is the 1984 single made iconic in Footloose, starring Bacon.

John Lithgow also made a cameo “to object” to the music, a reference to his strict reverend character in Footloose.

Previous “Classroom Instruments” performers include Lin-Manuel Miranda, “Weird Al” Yankovic, Justin Bieber and Janet Jackson.
