True Face of Progressivism Exposed in a Tragedy's Aftermath.

There is no proof yet that Christianne Amanpour is a child molester. Let that sink in for a second. Outrageous, right? Especially when simply said out of the blue like that. Yet that is how the media is treating the insanity of the left-wing progressive charge that conservatives, Sarah Palin and the Tea Party are somehow responsible for the actions of a man who had been obsessed with his target since 2007, more than two years before the Tea Party was in existence.

Amanpour, on her low-rated “This Week” program on ABC, said the following in her report of the tragic act of insanity in Arizona when a disturbed gunman open fire, killed six and wounded more than a dozen, including Congresswoman Gabby Giffords. “…But in fact the suspect in custody, 22 year old Jared Loughner, has no known ties to the tea party or any conservative group.”

It was an unprovoked, out of context slam at a group of people who had nothing to do with anything involving this act of barbarism. But it was exactly what most progressive leftists want the story to be – “forget the tragedy, forget the victims, we have to try to use this to our political advantage and blame conservatives.” After all, never let a crisis go to waste, right?

Most old media left-wing attack dog types are only implying it, but some are flat-out saying it. For example, Paul Krugman, about whom there is also no evidence of child molestation yet, blogged that while there wasn’t “yet” any proof, “…it’s long past time for the GOP’s leaders to take a stand against the hate-mongers.” Implicitly this means that the Democrat party is free to not take a stand against anyone using any inflammatory rhetoric because they don’t do that. Makes you wonder if Mr. Krugman has ever heard of Alan Grayson, MSNBC or many of President Obama’s own remarks.

Media Matters for America Senior Fellow (in what can only be described as watching television and complaining about it) Eric Boehlert, about whom there is ten times the evidence of being a child molester than conservatives are responsible for the shooting of Congresswoman Giffords (in case Eric can’t do math, when you multiply by zero you get zero) could not resist the urge to run to Twitter to blame the right, even though his employer managed to. (As of 3:00 am Media Matters website had no mention of the tragedy.) He took the opportunity to attack Andrew Breitbart and Sarah Palin, falling in line with all the other progressive bomb-throwers who seemingly received “Tweeting points” from a central command. In his rage, which is pretty much a typical day for Mr. Boehlert, he forgot to do one things…condemn the act or offer any condolences or prayers for the victims whatsoever. In fact, he only wrote one tweet with the name Giffords in it, the others that mention her were retweets.

This is indicative of the political left in this country – it doesn’t matter what happened, the agenda must go on!

Markos Moulitsas, noted as yet unproven child molester and author of a book no one read equating conservatives with the Taliban, also never got around to offering condolences of prayers, simply shifting into attack mode with his usual vitriol. “Mission accomplished, Sarah Palin” he tweeted within moments, linking to a blog post with a picture of the now famous “cross-hairs” on it from SarahPAC. He did so with no sense of irony, which is an accomplishment since he was, at that very moment, scrubbing his own website of all the attacks he and his flying monkeys had made, as recently as 2 days before the shooting, on Congresswoman Giffords. That post just 2 day earlier carried the charming title “My CongressWOMAN voted against Nancy Pelosi! And is now DEAD to me!” He also found time to delete his own map picture with cross-hairs on Giffords’ district made long before than the one on Sarah Palin’s site.

After that, the flying monkeys, none of which have yet to be proven to be child molesters, kicked it into high gear. For an excellent capture of what they were saying on Twitter check out this piece.

Piers Morgan, who accomplished the impossible by being even less aware than the man he is replacing, demonstrated how CNN hoped to maintain neutrality and integrity by tweeting “The now deleted image from Sarah Palin (sic) website will be reason this terrible shooting has huge political ramifications” with a link to that bastion of sanity and, as of yet unproven, child molester free users the Huffington Post. Perhaps CNN should consider the slogan “Lean Back” when Morgan starts his new show next Monday.

Even Jane Fonda, always a potential medalist in the stupidity Olympics and an as yet unproven child molester herself, blamed Sarah Palin and Glenn Beck for the shootings because of their words. Coming from her it really does beg the question, “If their words inspired a lunatic to violence and they now have blood on their hands, does that mean we can blame you for dead soldiers in Vietnam since you inspired them with your words AND a visit?”

Jane will never answer that question because she will never be asked it. She, like the other as yet unproven child molesters in this piece live in a bubble, an echo chamber of like-minded vapidity that is insulated from reality, freeing them to pass judgment on others from a distance while instructing servants, drivers and personal security details to keep the unwashed masses at a safe distance. They are the ultimate bourgeoisie, demanding uniformity of thought while tramp-stamping “celebrate diversity” on the small of their backs. But it’s a temporary tattoo, washed off with Perrier in a 2 person tub, in their large homes in their gated communities or doorman buildings.

Liberals are the people who’ve spent the better part of the last 20 years telling us that violent video games and movies have no influence on society, and I agree. Yet they turn around and expect us to believe a picture on a website most people have never been to somehow, miraculously had the power to cause a clearly disturbed individual to commit a heinous act of violence. Damn the torpedoes, full spin ahead.

It won’t work. While I’d like to believe that no one is so mindless as to buy into that MEME, the nameless, faceless, as yet unproven child molesting flying monkey brigade, content to let others do their thinking for them, have. But rational, logical, human beings aren’t. They know that if something like “Piss Christ” didn’t cause anyone on the right to commit violence that a JPEG image of a map of the United States didn’t either.

No, the perpetrator of this act of violence was Jared Loughner. He acted alone and is clearly disturbed. And just because he liked extreme leftist books by Hitler and Marx and was a 9/11 truther doesn’t mean every liberal, as yet unproven as a child molester, is responsible for his actions. No matter how many Che Guevara t-shirts he may have owned.
