NSSF Senior VP: 2014 Could Be Most Successful SHOT Show We've Ever Had

When Breitbart News caught up with National Shooting Sports Foundation’s (NSSF) senior vice president Chris Dolnack on January 17–the last day of the 2014 SHOT Show–he said numbers were just coming in but it could be “the most successful SHOT Show [they’ve] ever had.”

NSSF owns the SHOT Show.

Dolnack said: “Attendance is up, the vib on the floor is great, there’s so much energy, and I’ve never seen the industry more united.”

The show floor was “630,000 net square feet–almost eleven football fields. It had twelve and half miles of aisles and it was jam-packed.”

Dolnack said numbers indicate the surge in gun sales in 2013 is continuing in 2014 and that the growing female interest in firearms was one of the big contributors to the success of this year’s show.

He said that for women and others who discovered firearms for the first time in 2013, last year turned out “to be a year of empowerment.” That carried over into the 2014 SHOT Show.
