Todd: Obama National Security Strategy ‘Doesn’t Seem to Exist’

NBC’s “Meet the Press” host Chuck Todd said that the Obama administration’s national security strategy “doesn’t seem to exist” on Friday’s broadcast of “The Rundown with Jose Diaz-Balart” on MSNBC.

“We’re going to hear today from Susan Rice about sort of an overall national security strategy that right now doesn’t seem to exist in the Obama administration. Even Russia, which you could argue, the tactics that they used on sanctions, they’ve had the impact that they hoped that they would have economically in Russia, but they haven’t changed Putin’s behavior, and so that’s, I think, the conundrum they face there. And then, of course, with ISIS, about the only good news, perhaps, is that maybe the Arab world sits there and says, ‘whoa, these guys are now killing–they want to kill Muslims as much as they want to kill Westerners’ and does this galvanize–you sit it galvanize the Jordanian king, does this galvanize others?” he stated.
