Tiger Woods reportedly sent his private plane to bring American skier Lindsey Vonn back to the United States from Austria after Vonn’s skiing accident last week.
Vonn had to be airlifted to a hospital after crashing and injuring multiple ligaments in her knee during a World Championship Super-G run.
Vonn, of Vail, Colorado, will undergo surgery next week and will try to make a comeback for the 2014 Winter Olympics.
Woods and Vonn, according to reports, may have been dating for the last nine months. A Woods spokesperson declined to comment on the relationship last month.
Woods is not playing this week in the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am tournament.
