Report: Porn Traffic Down During First Round of NFL Draft

Last Thursday evening, young men were more interested in finding out which team would draft Johnny Manziel than watching porn. 

According to TMZ’s sources at PornHub, the site’s traffic was down “nearly 15% Thursday night” during the First Round of the draft. On Friday, the site’s traffic was back to normal with more than 40 million hits.

The NFL Draft, according to Nielsen, was the most watched ever with a combined viewership on ESPN and NFL Network over over 32 million viewers, up 28% over last year. 

ESPN’s ratings for its first-round coverage were up 50% over last year’s with a 6.8 rating, and the network crushed the ratings among the coveted males 18-34. ESPN reportedly drew a monster 7.7 rating in that demo — which was more than nearly all of the top shows on network television combined that night — much to the chagrin of the porn industry.
