Netanyahu-Modi Joint Statement Ignores ‘Two-State Solution’

Thirty years after India became the first non-Muslim state to recognize the “State of Palestine,” Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu signed off on a joint statement on Wednesday that mentioned the Palestinian-Israel diplomatic process, but made no reference to a two state solution.

Israel, India Hail Defense Ties, Pledge Economic Partnership

President Reuven Rivlin and India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday hailed their countries’ increasing security cooperation and called to deepen their economic relationship, as Rivlin made a historic visit to the world’s second-most populous country this week.

Israeli President To Visit India Next Week

President Reuven Rivlin is to travel to India for an official visit next week, his office said Wednesday in a sign of increasingly close relations between the two countries.
