Macy’s Fires Catholic Over Transgender Bathroom Incident

A senior store detective at Macy’s has been fired from his job after he intervened when a female customer reported that a man entered the women’s bathroom. After he was asked to leave the restroom, the man complained saying he believes he is really a female. The woman and her daughter were frightened by the man’s presence.

Christians Beaten by Police as Part of New Crackdown in Vietnam

As Vietnam prepares to enact new legislation that will seriously curb religious freedom, police have begun cracking down on Christians, especially those most vocal about their faith. In a period of just ten days, police twice assaulted Christian student activist Chu Manh Son and Catholic journalist Tran Minh Nhat, each of whom had previously served prison terms for denouncing Vietnam’s human rights violations.

Deaf Christian Woman Gang Raped by Muslims in Pakistan

The woman reportedly screamed for mercy while being raped, but no one came to her assistance. Relatives of the woman have retained the services of Christian lawyer Sardar Mushtaq Gill, who runs an advocacy group offering free legal assistance to Pakistani Christians and other minorities who are victims of abuse and religious persecution.

Christian Arrested in Pakistan for ‘Derogatory Remarks’ about Mohammed

The latest “blasphemy” trial from Pakistan involves a Christian laborer named Pervaiz Masih, who was working on a construction site when one of his Muslim co-workers reportedly knocked off work to listen to a religious speech. Masih told him to get back to work, an argument ensued, and according to the charges, Masih made “derogatory remarks against the prophet of Islam.”
