Perry: We Need a President that Doesn’t Separate Us by Race, Class or Creed

Thursday at the 2015 Southern Republican Leadership Conference in Oklahoma, former Gov. Rick Perry (R-TX) criticized President Barack Obama and suggested it was time for a change in direction.

Perry said, “America has entered a time of testing. We need a president who confronts the stark realities—provides leadership that transcends the petty partisanship that we have seen the last few years. We need a president who bridges the partisan divide rather that widens it, and who brings people together instead of separating us by class and by race or by creed.”
