Ravens Coach Harbaugh: ‘I’m Going Trump Here. Build the Wall’

Baltimore Ravens Head Coach John Harbaugh got political in a post-practice rant on Saturday.

According to the Baltimore Sun, Harbaugh was initially making a case to the NFL to allow referees to get more practice during training camp to shake off rust, but then he equated the dispute between referees and the NFL over more practice for referees to politics, saying, “Both sides want it, so maybe they ought to start talking to one another — maybe like our government, too.”

“I’m going Trump here,” Harbaugh stated. “Build the wall. It’s not that hard. If you don’t have a border, you don’t have a country. You’re not a country without a border, right? At the same time, you’ve got 12 to 15 million hard-working people here. Give them a shot. Give them a chance, right? To become a citizen, so they’re paying taxes. I mean, all of us know that it’s not that complicated, but this side doesn’t want to solve it, neither does this side. Neither one of them wants to solve the problem. Solve the problem.”

Harbaugh also joked that he might be running for president in 2016.
