Presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump reacted early this morning to the news of the mass shooting at a club in Orlando, Florida.
“Really bad shooting in Orlando,” he wrote at 8:07 a.m. “Police investigating possible terrorism. Many people dead and wounded.”

Later Trump updated his response, calling for renewed vigilance against
terrorism.
“Horrific incident in FL. Praying for all the victims & their families,”
he wrote. “When will this stop? When will we get tough, smart & vigilant?”

Later, Trump reacted to fans congratulating him for being among the first to identify the attack as a product of radical Islamic terrorism.
“Appreciate the congrats for being right on radical Islamic terrorism,” he wrote. “I don’t want congrats, I want toughness & vigilance. We must be smart!”

Hillary Clinton also reacted to the news on Twitter at 9:20 a.m.
