Adam Carolla calls California home, but he's hardly a typical resident by local standards.

He's more likely to critique the Golden State (or its denizens) than send much love its way.

So when Bill O'Reilly asked the podcast king why his fellow Californians, particularly well-to-do Hollywood types, aren't up in arms over skyrocketing gas prices Carolla had an easy answer up his sleeve.

"My friends don't know how much gas is, they don't care, and they like it that way," Carolla told O'Reilly.
