Taylor Swift's New Music Video Attacked as Racist

Taylor Swift’s new music video, “Shake It Off,” is being attacked as racist. While it’s obvious to anyone without a chip on their shoulder that throughout the video Swift is paying goofy tribute to iconic music videos over the decades (Miley Cyrus and Britney Spears included), that doesn’t matter to a number of America’s racial grifters who would no doubt complain if Swift had excluded hip hop.

Rapper Earl Sweatshirt trashed the video as racist without even watching it:

Salon gets the facts completely wrong and apparently couldn’t take the time to examine the photo published with their story:

The point of controversy is when Swift appears with a crew of black backup dancers who twerk and break-dance around her. In one scene, Swift crawls under an archway of black women’s asses as they twerk for the camera.

Ah, no, those are black and white asses, as the photo you chose to accompany your own story proves.

Pretty sad thing when specific groups, aided by our media, believe they deserve inoculation from satire — even good-hearted satire, which is what Swift’s video obviously is.

Elsewhere in America, The Cartoon Network is portraying a black Jesus as a criminal and casual drug user who’s violent and spouts profanity. The Ku Klux Klan didn’t produce the show. The show’s creators are black.
