Sanchized! NY Jets Coach Rex Ryan Spotted With Tattoo of Wife's Likeness 'Tebowing' in Sanchez Jersey

New York Jets head coach Rex Ryan cursed out a reporter after he was spotted in the Bahamas sporting a tattoo on his arm of his wife’s likeness in a Mark Sanchez No. 6 jersey.

The woman in the tattoo, who resembles his wife, was wearing only the Sanchez jersey and is apparently “Tebowing,” striking the the widely-recognized pose quarterback Tim Tebow made popular.

This season, Ryan was criticized for stubbornly playing Sanchez despite his struggles over Tebow, whom he used on special teams and in the “wildcat” formation.

According to the New York Daily News, Ryan said, “Oh, s—,” after he was confronted. He then waved off the reporter and stormed away with his wife.

On Monday, the Jets fired general manager Mike Tannenbaum after the team finished 6-10 and failed to make the playoffs. Jets owner Woody Johnson and Ryan, who was not fired, have been criticized for not discussing Tannenbaum’s departure.

This season, the Jets were often distracted by leaks to the media. For instance, when Ryan decided to start third-string quarterback Greg McElroy over Tim Tebow after the Jets failed to make the playoffs, details about Ryan’s private meeting with Tebow were immediately leaked to the New York press.
