US Open Resumes After Weather Delay

After a three-and-a-half-hour delay for threatening, play has resumed at the U.S. Open at Merion Golf Club in Pennsylvania.

At the time of this writing, Ian Poulter is at the top of the leaderboard at -3 through three holes.

The blockbuster group of Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy, and Adam Scott is schedule to tee off a bit after 4 p.m EDT.

It will be interesting how the course plays after so much rain. The rain will make Merion’s fairways less imposing, and there may be some really low scores in the clubhouse.
