The mainstream media may, or may not, give her a pass. But today was the first day of Hillary Clinton’s run for the White House in 2016, and it was a massive communications failure.
The UK Guardian had reported that the announcement would come at Noon. That never happened, although Team Hillary did little to dispel the now rumor.
What they did was have John Podesta email reporters this afternoon, as the New York Times reports:
“I wanted to make sure you heard it first from me – it’s official: Hillary’s running for president,” the email reads. It goes on to say that Mrs. Clinton will soon meet with voters in Iowa and will host a formal kickoff event some time next month.
For her part, Hillary used one of her devices to tweet:
I’m running for president. Everyday Americans need a champion, and I want to be that champion. –H https://t.co/w8Hoe1pbtC

Meanwhile, Ruby Cramer Tweeted an image of the actual letter here.

Read it and wonder.
