This past weekend, conservative talk radio icon and author of multiple New York Times bestsellers Dr. Michael Savage and Breitbart News Editor-in-Chief Alexander Marlow discussed his latest book Government Zero: No Borders, No Language, No Culture.
Appearing on Breitbart News Saturday, which airs on SiriusXM Patriot channel 125, Dr. Savage explained that this is the first interview in the campaign for his new book. Marlow said he was honored and reminded Savage that their interview together last year, discussing Stop the Coming Civil War: My Savage Truth, was one of the highlights of the year for Breitbart News Saturday.
Savage, who holds a PhD in nutrition from the University of California at Berkeley, recounted that during his last interview with Marlow, when they discussed Stop the Coming Civil War, “I don’t know if we stopped it or started it.”
In 2012, Savage admits, “I told conservative voters who were not going to vote to hold their nose and vote for Romney.” He expected that when Republicans regained power in congress, “Our work would begin and we would have to hold their feet to the fire.” Unfortunately, that didn’t work very well, he acknowledged. “They have no feet to put to the fire. They’re footless.”
The 73-year-old Bronx native segued into the premise of his book: “We’re down to the wire—Government Zero: No Borders. No Language. No Culture. What do we do about a rogue government? What does the title mean? More Government, zero representation. It is a government unto itself. It doesn’t represent the people. We all know that.”
How do we combat this existential dilemma for America? “First we have to come up with a plan,” Savage asserts. In the last chapter of Government Zero he lists a forty point plan for how to get America back to to its founding principles and rid itself of leftist ideologies.
The most important thing one can do is to make an uninformed friend or relative aware of “the tsunami that has hit America. Many don’t even know they are swimming in it. They don’t know they are in the eye of the storm. They have no idea about the Muslim invasion. They have no idea about the rogue government. They have no idea about Barry in the White House.” Savage laments that we may have only “one last chance to awaken America.”
In the early nineties, Savage galvanized a strong following of conservative patriots known as the Paul Revere Society. He is proud to state that they are the “progenitors” of today’s Tea Party. Thousands voiced their contempt for compromising politicians rallying behind expressions such as “Name them and shame them,” and “Try them and fry them.”
Savage argues that today we have a movement of millions of people around the country who want to change the political landscape, “but we don’t have any representation. That’s the problem.”
Marlow brought up the topic of open borders in America and the problem that many who come “have no intention of assimilating and living the American dream, ” but prefer to “co-opt America for their own purposes.”
Savage claims Marlow’s observation isolates only half the problem. He forewarned, “If we thought we had problems with illegals coming from south of the border, that is nothing compared to what is coming if Barry from Honolulu is allowed to bring in 100,000 Syrian Muslims, most of whom are military age men.”
The reason migrants are fleeing war in Syria, contends Savage, is “probably because they are coming here to start one.” He pointed out that news outlets like the Associated Press and Reuters always show pictures of migrants with women and children. Savage suggests that you look at candid pictures from Breitbart and you will see that they are mostly all men. “Breitbart has the best pictures by the way,” he stated. Savage remains puzzled that no opposition or outrage currently exists from Republicans or the American people regarding this potential Syrian migrant disaster.
Savage hopes that shows like his and Breitbart’s will continure to expose this crisis and serve as a clarion call to the entire nation.
Breitbart’s Editor-in-Chief explained that he grew up in Los Angeles and was not taught about patriotism and American execptionalism, but rather leftist theory praising the benefits of multiculturalism and the myth that “all cultures are equal, and all cultures are equally part of American life, and that no culture is better than any other.”
The conservative radio legend responded, “I understand what the brain washing is. Now couple that with your generation being raised on medication… raised on ritalin, adderall. This is all the gigantic distraction of the critical mind.”
Savage contends that the medications numbed a generation, casting them into a non-thinking existance, not in touch with their own feelings. “Once you can numb a population and convert them into hedonists, where if it feels good do it—the ethos of the sixty’s—you can mold them over into any shape that they want. And believe me they are winning.”
On the radio a few days ago, Savage said that “we lost the battle” and was asked by callers if he was a “defeatist?” But he asserts that he didn’t say “we lost the war, but we lost the battle.”
Savage admits that he was feeling a bit low at the time, because it was right after “Hillary smashed the Republicans into dust at the hearing. Which I think was a Kabuki play. I think they were in cahoots with her.” Savage went on to explain that there were several military leaders, “generals and admirals” who were fired by Obama right after the Benghazi fiasco, because they criticized him for not sending reinforcements to the beleaguered American diplomats at the consulate. At least one of these career military men could have been brought in by the investigative committee, Savage argues. He suggested that they had the capacity to expose Obama and Hillary’s treachery.
Savage is outraged that one of the officers in charge of commanding a naval carrier, who was critical of Obama’s decision to do nothing during the seige of the consulate, was dismissed for “using profanity in a public setting.” Savage speculates that threats of loss of pension or worse from the Obama administration may have discouraged military personnel from testifying.
Moreover, Savage would not be surprised that Gowdy’s committee didn’t call any of them as witnesses because they are in on the fix “to make certain Hillary walked away unscathed, to anoint her the next president of the United States of America. Its a plan. Its a plot. It’s unbelievable. It’s government zero from the top to the bottom.”
