Cell phone video shows San Diego Police confront, and ultimately shoot and kill, an attacker who opened fire on apartment residents at La Jolla Crossroads on April 30.

Breitbart News reported that eight people were injured when the suspect–identified as Peter Selis–attacked. However, one of the eight died, leaving seven wounded and one fatality.

Fox 5 reports that Selis attacked while apartment residents were gathered at the pool to celebrate a birthday.  Prior to the attack he was sitting in a chair watching the festivities, then calmly opened fire, reloaded, and fired again. He had a beer in one hand and a gun in the other when police arrived.

A cell phone video shows the seconds in which police walk up beside the pool, spot Selis and open fire. When the shooting stops, Selis is slouched against a wall.

WARNING: VIOLENCE, GRAPHIC IMAGES and SOUNDS

10 News reports that officers began to provide first aid to the wounded as soon as Selis was down, and that includes one officer who unsuccessfully performed CPR on Selis.
