The Islamic State (IS) terror group, also referred to as ISIS, posted more disturbing pictures of babies surrounded by weapons and ISIS paraphernalia. One, no more than two months old, is wearing an ISIS onesie, and another, at least twelve months old, has a Kalashnikov rifle on his lap.
Grenades and Kalashnikov rifles surround one baby on a black ISIS flag. The Daily Mail says the Twitter user posted the picture under the hashtag #IS to reach more viewers.
In the other picture, the baby is perched in front of the ISIS flag with the Kalashnikov rifle on his lap. The ISIS logo is in the top right corner, and there appears to be a hand holding the butt of the rifle. The infant is seemingly in good health in a blue and brown sweater and navy blue pants.
Jihadist groups often use children as propaganda tools, and ISIS is no different. One video featured three young white Bosnian children who chanted “Allahu Akbar” and waved the ISIS flag. The terrorists also released a video of a child-training center with Chechen leader Omar al-Shishani.
A recent investigation found 30,000 new Twitter accounts in support of ISIS after the jihadists murdered American journalist James Foley on August 20.
