Three women killed in Madrid Halloween stampede

Three young women were killed in an overnight stampede during Halloween celebrations at a stadium in Madrid, police said Thursday.

“Three victims were trampled to death and other two were injured,” a police spokesman told AFP, adding that the disaster struck before 4 am at an indoor stadium that can accommodate thousands of people.
