The United States suffered their worst men’s singles performance at Wimbledon for over a century when they were left without a player in the third round for the first time since 1912.
World number one Novak Djokovic delivered the fatal blow by beating the last American man standing, world number 156 Bobby Reynolds, 7-6 (7/2), 6-3, 6-1 in the second round.
